i did dthe same!!!!!, ran over one of teh pop up emiter in the yard. and looking at both price and funtionality i was going to make a design BUT yours desigend pop up on my search(dad joke). i apreciate that is has a clear path for water to exict, the lid is easier to pop up and also the lid pops up higher than the standard of the shelf emitters. I am in Florida , so belive me its getting tested!.
