Magnetic Universal Opel Radio CDR 2005 Mount

A vehicle change necessitated the design of a new phone mount. The Corsa's radio conveniently provided the necessary screw holes for this application.

I conceived this mount for magnetic attachment.

Printed using PETG and incorporating five 18x5 neodymium power magnets, it securely holds my Pixel 7a in both portrait and landscape orientations.

Prior to magnet insertion, arrange four magnets in a square to determine their polarities. Subsequently, insert the magnets sequentially. The bottom cover is superfluous; the magnets maintain their position within the mount.

Attachment is straightforward: Remove the two grub screws from the radio and affix the mount using two M4x6mm countersunk screws. Alternative screw lengths may also suffice.

Magnetic Universal Opel Radio CDR 2005 Holder

Due to a change of vehicle, a different cell phone holder had to be designed. The Corsa's radio already had the necessary screw holes that I used for the holder.

I designed the holder for magnetic mounting.

Printed in PETG and equipped with 5 pieces of 18x5 neodymium power magnets, it holds my Pixel 7a both vertically and horizontally.

Before inserting the magnets, you should first lay 4 of them together in a square to determine the polarity. Then insert the magnets one by one. The bottom cover is not needed as the magnets hold themselves in the holder.

Fastening is very simple: Remove the 2 grub screws from the radio and screw the holder tight with 2 countersunk screws M4x6mm. Other screw lengths may also fit.
