Google Pixel 7a Protective Case / Cover

I acquired a new mobile phone and immediately wanted to print a protective case for it.

I selected this model and adapted the corners to my liking.

Unfortunately, I was dissatisfied with the result and set about improving it.

This is the resulting model, and it fits like a glove. It offers a secure hold with no slippage.

The TPU material provides excellent grip. The case’s slightly increased height offers additional display protection without hindering usability.

Since I own a magnetic car mount, I integrated a recess to accommodate my metal plate without increasing the case's thickness.

It can also store small items such as cash or notes. I am unable to confirm the impact on wireless charging, as I lack the means to test it.

0.2mm layer height, 20% infill, support structures

The support structures were easily removed.

Update 02.12.24

After two phone calls, I realised my conversation partners experienced significant audibility issues.

This was due to the original design's lack of a microphone opening.

I subsequently refined the upper edge near the speaker to optimise sound wave propagation.

I have revised and replaced the print file with the updated version.

I have added three further models and enhanced the case's grip.
