Description
A stackable rack that turns a pile of mini-PCs, NUCs, SBCs or other
small "servers" into a tidy, well-ventilated tower — with no screws,
no hardware and no supports.
## How it works
One LEVEL is a stiff honeycomb-vented floor sitting on four fat
18 × 18 mm corner posts. Each post carries a cone peg on top, and every
floor has a matching cone socket in each bottom corner. Set one level
onto the level below and the sockets self-centre onto the pegs —
gravity and the cone are the only "engine", so there is nothing to
screw, clip or glue. The four open sides stay clear for cables and
airflow, and a continuous retaining rail all round keeps each box from
sliding out.
The BASE is four wide feet. A foot is a broad brim + shaft + the same
cone peg on top, so it plugs into the lowest floor exactly like another
level would, lifting the whole tower ~25 mm off the desk so air can
move under the bottom box too.
Load runs straight down the four corner columns: at every joint the
upper floor's four post-base rings bear on the four lower post tops, so
a tall stack is stable and the cones only handle alignment.
- **Floor** — print one per device. Flat on the bed, posts point up, no
supports.
- **Foot** — print four (one per corner). Brim on the bed, no supports.
- PLA or PETG, 3+ walls, 15–20% infill (the posts are in pure
compression). 0.2 mm layers.
Every dimension lives at the top of the .scad, so you can resize the
opening, post height (headroom between levels), floor thickness or the
honeycomb vents for a different box in minutes.
