Stackable Egg Holder Generator

This is a stackable egg holder generator.

The settings are simple, with only four parameters.

1. Rows: You can set how many rows of egg-holding holes there are.

2. Cols: You can set how many columns of egg-holding holes there are.

3. Board thickness: The base plate thickness, default is 3mm. You can set the thickness of the base plate; when the span of the plate is large, you can appropriately increase the base plate thickness to enhance its support capability.

4. Egg hole diameter: The diameter of the egg hole, default is 40mm.

Model production instructions: A total of two models will be generated: one with shorter legs, designed to be placed at the bottom, and another with longer legs, which can be stacked on top.

Design inspiration: I love eating eggs, and every time I buy eggs at the supermarket, I buy a tray of 30. Since egg trays are laid flat, they take up a lot of space. Stacking eggs is a good idea. I once bought a rolling egg dispenser, but the effect was far from ideal; the eggs would always get stuck when rolling, forcing me to manually push them. That device has now gone back to the trash can. So I designed this simple stackable egg holder that you can customize according to your needs.

Friendly reminder: Big end up, small end down. The blunt end (large end) of an egg contains an air cell. Placing the egg upright with the large end facing up allows the yolk to naturally float away from the shell, using the air cell as a buffer. This not only effectively prevents “yolk sticking” or “yolk scattering” but also prevents microorganisms from entering the yolk, thereby ensuring the quality of the egg.
