Arcane portal - multiple options

Bill of Materials
Description
When something unnatural occurs, there are always those who try to harness the power. This arcane portal tries to convert and tame the power of the breach by channeling its power in the crystal. Barily holding it together with a magical barrier, inscribed with a language few understand and magical chains anchored tightly to three ancient pillars. Marked with Trinity Knots for binding power.
This arcane portal is designed with geometric shapes as inspiration. Starting with three pillars, marked with trinity knots, the symbol of unity and binding, it holds a central floating crystal above a portal/light.
With variable toppers, where you can switch out the top of the pillars or even the pillars entirely, this arcane portal can be used in multiple sessions.
For example:
- Crystal floating chained to 3 pillars
- 3 pillars with normal top
- 3 pillars with crystal tops
- 3 crystal clusters
- normal bases, as a stepping stone.
With the rotating arrow center, you can incorporate a puzzle aspect where your party needs to rotate it a certain way, unlocking the magical powers of the pillars, to help the party channel the arcane energy from the portal.
With the LED light in the middle, you can simply press your remote to change the color of the center portal to fit your story.
Don't have the LED light (yet)? no worries, I also included a print profile where you can 3D print your portal center.
The design is available in 1 giant disc (25 cm diameter) or cut up into 4 pieces using plugs to connect them.
I've also added the design without plugs, incase you don't want to use the pillars at all.
The entire design barely has supports and is assembled very very easily.
Assembly
Connect the 4 sides of the circle by using the plugs. It is made in a way that you cannot put the wrong ones together.
Either side has either 2 or 3 connectors that are round or a hexagon.

I advise to add a drop of glue when pushing them together.
Add the light in the middle of the circle

Put the big center circle on top. Then top it off with the small topper.

Use the big square plugs to put into the circle base. The smaller square plugs are for the top of the pillar (or if you want to just use the base-topper).
Put on the pillar bottom, add the small square plugs on top, add the pillar middle and top it of with the pillar topper of your choice (chain or no chain).
If you use the crystal, I advise to put the chains first on the crystal, and then add the toppers on the pillars. It works a lot better that way.
