Description
This is a stand designed for a brick-style calendar
It is designed to arrange and organize items using less volume and footprint
This model was designed for my personal needs if you have better ideas feel free to improve it

Additionally I'll share some technical details not covered in the video because I believe these details are better and more efficiently conveyed through text and images than through a video

For the main part's base I set the material thickness to 5 layers which is 2 mm thick but for the upper enclosure part I only set 2 walls One reason is to lower the center of gravity so the bottom density is greater than the upper half The other reason is to reduce a large amount of infill by using thicker walls
Different wall thicknesses plus reduced infill brought the overall material consumption down from over 230g to 125g while also ensuring strength and maintaining the center of gravity

Then by adding a modifier I increased the infill density of the protruding structural feature at the back
Firstly to enhance the strength of the load-bearing part and secondly to further pull the center of gravity towards the lower rear
However I deliberately moved the modifier up a bit to prevent the wall from separating from the main body starting from the bottom From the slice view it can be seen that the very bottom layer is a complete continuous structure and density changes only begin a few layers higher

Another detail is that the rear support leg could have been integrated with the main body but I separated it to allow for some playful color variations The separated piece and the main body are secured by an interference fit using protrusions and indentations
The clever bit here is that I didn't use a symmetrical design for both sides instead all the left protrusions face right and all the right protrusions face left When assembled this creates opposing forces on both sides making it completely locked in place with no looseness very firm
Alright I hope you have a happy printing experience :P
