Description

Modern & Functional case for USB Digispark ATtiny85

This is a case designed for a USB Digispark ATtiny85. I needed a modern and functional design that can have open and easily accessible pins. After seeing another model that required a screw and a nut and didn't have open pins, I decided to make my own.

Key Features:

  • Open Pins: All the pins are fully accessible and ready for use.
  • Simple design: Nothing extra needed (maybe a little bead of hot glue).
  • LED visibility: The onboard LED is still visible.

Usage Notes:

I would suggest putting a little bead of hot glue in to keep the ATtiny stable inside the case, as it sits a little loose, though it holds in place perfectly fine, that gives a complete piece of mind.
If printed in PLA (as I did), the top snap-on mechanism may loose its tension after 3–5 open/close cycles. For this reason, I recommend that the top not be removed once closed unless absolutely necessary.

With Text Version:
Just for fun, I made one with the label "USB 2.0 6kB" on it. The text is a tiny bit blurry especially the "k," but still readable (see pictures).
