Date Dice (SFW)

If you find it hard deciding what to do on dates or want to make life a little more fun a set of date dice is perfect for you.

This is a safe-for-work version of my date dice with only the two first dice. The first is what to eat. For example, Italian, Chinese, or home cooked. The second is what to do on your date. For example, watching a movie, relaxing at a spa, or shopping. You can also print a small tray to hold the dice in.

Printing

The print has a lot of color changes and short movements which can result in rough surfaces and stringing. It helps if your printer is properly calibrated and you use good filament that is not too wet.

If you have a rough surface try rubbing it against some strong and rough cloth to make it smoother. If the cloth used is too weak you may rip it. You can fix some stringing by using a heat gun or lighter to quickly (start with 1 second) apply heat so the strings curl up and can be removed by rubbing them with your finger afterward. Be careful not to leave black marks when using a lighter. Also, be careful not to heat the plastic for too long or it will begin to expand and lose its shape.
