#the Great Benchy Nations #Benchy Space Exploration #Ubn The international law for space recieved a highly favorable vote with several participants so it is now official and should be treated like regular international law. Personally I heavily disagree with the concept of adding space to the Benchy Nations or just finding new lands in general for power inflation and just realisticness, but if we are going to do it at least we have some international law to go along. Please refer to this post for any issues related to international law in space. 1. No war in space, space is for research and should never host any combat at any scale, even if 2 nations are at war on Earth they cannot fight eachother in space. 2. Land cannot be claimed in space, there is a small radius around each research base that may not be crossed for safety but nothing beyond that. 3. You cannot do anything to obstruct or prevent other nations from exploring any region of space unless their activities threaten international law. 4. Slow steady power growth from space, you cannot gain huge amounts of power from space and all exploration projects should give mostly research and not resources, large missions should also cost billions to execute. 5. All regular international law also applys in space unless it contradics any of the rules above. It also turns out that there are vast amounts of ruby and other gemstones, fit for lasers. Because of this, I am creating a laser force field around the planet. We are sending a fleet of 4 ships to explore a local, nearby galaxy called Benchyrion. There seems to be 2 habitable planets. One has triggered sensors as inhabited. The other is uninhabited.
