Exceptional. Of course the concept is simple but who wants a slide rule today. Well despite being quite old, we never used them at school (born 1970), but I was watching an old US teaching documentary last week which taught how to use the slide rule. And finally after years of thinking about it, I've printed one out to try. I have absolutely no need or use for it, but well, because I CAN look at it, and since the designer kindly uploaded the model, I have less of an excuse to get a bit of outdated knowledge. As another commentator says, it just needs a bit of use to unstiffen it (oh, that sounds a bit fruity).

I may put some tape on this to add a slightly little more weight, as I've knocked it a couple of times. Yet to look for a thin velcro type thing. But a simple and nice solution in itself.
