Guys stop doing face reveals. The followers are nothing compared to your safety. Plus, the only thing you get out of it is the popular creator badge and that requires 1,000 followers and we all know that doing face reveals is never going to achieve that. So, it seems kind of pointless to do face reveals.

#Newmodel Once my order from Amazon arrives on October 7 I will be able to begin my testing of the D6 dice mold I have designed and printed out of PETG. If it works then I should be able to work out a relatively easy way to use up PLA filament waste at home for a one-time investment of a few items. #Safety For anyone who has safety concerns about this PLA is plant-based and therefore is a safe plastic to handle AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT BURN, all plastic can become toxic once burned but if you just melt it then you should be ok as long as it is done in a well ventilated area. #Inspiration Shout out to the Brothers Make Youtube channel I learned a lot about plastic recycling from them, you should check them out here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0A0TIq-WDyKZcGcOt5WpPA (Warning you may suddenly have the strong desire to melt plastic into cool stuff once you watch a video)

Hey MakerWorld community! I'm a nobody around these parts, but I do have some #Safety concerns that I'd like to talk about and ask for y'all's feedback on. I own a small manufacturing business that's powered by a bunch of BL A1s. I'm thinking of adding my first TPU products to my catalog, but first I wanted to do some safety research before potentially printing something toxic on an unenclosed bed. I decided to use Gemini 2.5 Pro's Deep Research feature to get a science-based toxicological breakdown of PLA, PETG, and TPU. I was absolutely shocked by the results of recent studies, which you can see a brief overview of in the attached image. You can also view the entire report and sources here: https://g.co/gemini/share/c62274c2060e My main concern is PLA. PLA has been marketed as old reliable; the "safe" and "time-tested" filament. Consider my surprise when I learned that controlled chamber studies measured ultrafine particle emissions to be in the range of 10^9 through 10^11 particles per minute. This INSANE amount of UFPs is more than enough to cause significant reductions in cellular viability and induction of oxidative stress. Even more concerning is the seemingly unambiguous evidence that exposure to PLA UFP emissions seems to cause significant increases in a molecular marker (gamma-H2AX) that indicates the most severe form of DNA damage. I don't believe everything that I read, but this definitely concerns me. I've been printing a ton of unenclosed PLA for almost two years now, and my health has been declining since I started 3D printing (although I had believed it to be just a natural effect of aging and working too much). Now I'm extremely concerned that we've all been putting ourselves at risk due to incorrect safety claims. What do y'all make of this? Is Gemini just tripping over less-than-reputable studies? Or is this something that the community needs to take seriously?

Be sure that the rules are followed in your work place. Post signage to inform the people around you. #Coffee #signage #safety
