Custom Cherry MX Keycaps
Modeled in #Fusion360 from scratch b/c there was no model that was exactly right. Some of the lofts were not quite right. Some of the dimensions didn't match mine, and I needed to customize the stems to the printer and the keycap heights to my version of Cherry MX switches. Deceptively hard to model. R1-R4 are all different heights in the front and back. All icons are SVGs from fontawesome imported and extruded.

After what seemed like an age of waiting, my crowdfunded keyboard from @Makesenstudio came through today. I had already printed the base out in 3 shades of blue so it was all about assembly today. I did have to file a bit to get the USB connector in place, and shrink the base clips by 5% in the Y-axis, but the end result is solid and it looks (and sounds) great!
The keycaps were bought from AliExpress for under £19 and go well with the Blue Wave theme of the base.

#Mykeyboard I didn't have yellow filament at the time I received my keyboard kit so I decided to print it in grey. So instead of cheese keyboard i call mine the Moon Keyboard.
Currently running an all grey profile but i have quite a few keycap sets to try out before I decide what to stick with.
Overall the keyboard is quite nice to type on, slight higher profile than I'm used to but that's a me issue :)
Its not the most thocky keyboard I own but I don't think it sounds bad either.
Going to print the coloured case for it over the weekend and see what i prefer.
Its a great addition to my collection. :)
