This occurs because plastic shrinks as it cools; if the layers cool unevenly, internal tension pulls the edges upward.Here is a guide to locking your prints down flat. 1. First Layer (The Foundation)If your first layer isn’t perfect, the rest of the print doesn't stand a chance.Level Your Bed: This is the #1 cause of warping. If the nozzle is too far away, the plastic won't "squished" enough. Use your printer’s auto-leveling sequence before every big print.Adjust Z-Offset: Even with a level bed, your nozzle might be starting too high. Lower your Z-offset in small increments (0.05mm) until the filament is slightly flattened against the bed. 2. Maximize Bed AdhesionSometimes gravity and heat aren't enough. You need to bond the plastic to the plate.Clean the Surface: Fingerprints are the enemy. Oil ruins adhesion. Wipe your build plate with Isopropyl Alcohol (90%+) before every print.
