Hey team! I wanted to drop by and give you all an update on what we’ve been building together. These past days I’ve been fully focused on the STLCraft platform. It’s been a big push, and I’m really excited to get it finished and into your hands soon. I also wanted to share something that made me reflect a bit: recently, someone asked me for a full Lifetime pass — access forever to everything I create, everything my team creates, and the entire future platform. I explained that this project isn’t like a single collection; we’re talking about years of content, tools, and collections, so a Lifetime like that just isn’t sustainable. Still, I’m considering offering a very limited Lifetime option, with reasonable conditions to keep it viable. If you have ideas or thoughts on what limits would make sense, I’d love to hear them. About the models: This week I’ll be releasing the final polished versions of Wave and Corolla. And LuminaStripe is taking more work than expected because I want to implement a clean invisible-joint solution that feels truly seamless. Quick update on LuminaStripe: the modular system is moving forward, and if everything goes as planned, it should be ready sometime next week, so we can start with the first printable pieces. Right now, I’m working on achieving a thread that’s as discreet as possible, so it doesn’t stand out visually and keeps the design clean. On the other hand, I’ve created these curved designs, which will be ready to download this weekend. I just need to fine tune a few details, like wall thicknesses and variations of the closed bottom section, and adding a drainage holes . Silk // Exploring Organic Textures While experimenting with fabric-inspired shapes, I came up with the idea of applying that same fluidity to a lamp. The goal was to create a design with soft lines that works as a decorative piece, even when turned off. What interests me most about the result is how the light projects through the curves, creating a very clean gradient. I enjoyed the process so much that I’m already planning to expand this collection with more models—such as planters, vases, and ceiling versions—as soon as my workflow allows. Silk is now available in the Welcome Pack for all membership tiers. If you'd like to see more pieces in this style, let me know in the comments so I can prioritize it. A small update with some models already printed. I’m preparing multicolor trees and adapting them so they can hold small lights inside. I’ll also make a decorated version without AMS, although it might take longer. I’m repairing the reindeer, creating its multicolor version without AMS, and expanding the family with a female reindeer and a baby reindeer. Tomorrow I’ll start the second part of the Christmas goal, which will include models to hang on the tree and other decorations. I’ve continued improving the LuminaStripe fitting system, and now the large version is being printed, which will be ready to show tomorrow. The models are free on my profile if you haven’t downloaded them yet, and the new improvements will be part of the crowdfunding project.
