Description
Will need glue to attach the port and starboard halves, but the tails should snap in fine. I plan on printing this in dark blue PLA and painting in the white parts.
Estimated print time with my A1 at .2mm layer height: Port and starboard halves ~7 1/2 hours each. For all the smaller bits ~4 1/2 hours. So probably at least 19.5-20 hours of printing. I don't necessarily recommend printing all the smaller bits together, the photo of that is just showing the orientation I recommend printing the parts in.
!!!Please note!!! I did make attachment points on the wings if you want to hang it (like in the Atrium), I have not yet tested out if these are at the right spots so it can hang balanced. Once I nail this down, I can post an updated model with the correct spots, or you can add weight inside the two halves to try to even it out if you want to hang it somewhere and not wait, I presume it will be back heavy. I also plan on making a stand for this, so it can sit at the same angle as the Atrium Chappy on a desk/shelf.
