some good tips for adjusting your printer to get a better print. 1. Retraction settings • Increase retraction distance a bit • Increase retraction speed This pulls filament back when the nozzle moves, so it doesn’t drip and make strings. 2. Lower your nozzle temperature • Try dropping it by 5–10°C If it’s too hot, the filament gets runny and strings more. 3. Increase travel speed • Faster moves = less time for filament to ooze out 4. fan speed higher fan speed = less stringing. Lower fan speed = more stringing. if your fan speed is already at 100%, then that is most likely not the issue. another way to help is by getting a smaller nozzle, but that will also add to print time. I hope this helped

this actually helped me as well, just got some shiny new filament that seemed to be stringing a lot, I set the fan to 100% and decreased the nozzle temperature. Ty

I bought a filament dryer. I don't have a picture of before, but I can show you how much better it is now. This print profile has helped me check the status of my printer. I plan to continue using it effectively.

New to 3D printing. Printer: P1S Slicer: Bambu Studio Skill level: Noob PLA Basic Black(30105) / Filament with spool / 1kg, 2 days out of plastic. Kept in original cardboard box with silica gel packs when not in use (no dryer machine or sealed bag). Any settings or sections I should be taking note of? Would appreciate any advice.

thanks for the picture. the test is not meant to be perfect by the print profile but you need to tweak the settings, dry the filament etc. until the test comes out perfect.
