Following requests from users of the previously released Modular Storage Box for Bambu Accessories, I've devised two methods to incorporate latches,

Method One

To avoid requiring users who have already printed the boxes to reprint, I've designed latching frames. This approach minimizes material usage while adding latch functionality.

The files include separate frames for the lid, the base, and a deeper base with latches. Select and print as needed. Minimal supports ensure easy removal. Installation is straightforward: simply insert the latches and rotate them twice. Latches print vertically; I've omitted brims, so ensure a clean build plate for optimal results.

Method Two

I've also created versions of the base and lid with integrated latches. Newly printed boxes can utilize this version, which is also compatible with the frame latches.

These files have been added to the configuration files for the Modular Storage Box for Bambu Accessories.

Unfortunately, due to dimensions exceeding 180mm, neither method is printable on the A1 mini. My apologies to A1 mini users.

For A1 mini users, adhesive bonding remains an option to add latches, though precise alignment is crucial, requiring some dexterity. Alternative methods may exist. Are there any A1 mini users interested in this functionality?
