Balance Scale
Print Profile(2)

Description
Designed as a decorative display piece, it is also functional. Modeled after the beam balance scale that has been used for centuries as a measuring device. While not accurate for scientific measurement, it does function well enough to teach basic principles or make a fun toy.
The assembled scale is 290 mm (11.5") tall and 300 mm (12") wide. The print profile for the A1 Mini prints the central stand as two pieces. The stand is printed as one piece in the profile for larger printers.

For best results, ensure that you are using a dry, high-quality filament and that you have taken appropriate steps to maintain good adhesion to the build plate. Failure to do so could result in a failed print. Build plate adhesion can be improved by washing the plate with soap and water, or washing the plate with alcohol, or by using a glue stick or a liquid glue on the build plate. Do not over-tighten the screws.
