I really like the design of this shell from C86, it's small and exquisite, but the installation process is too demanding, not very friendly to clumsy people like me, so I made some optimizations. Thanks again to C86 for the selfless open source, because of the engineering files, my optimization and adjustments were more smooth, the main optimization content is as follows:

1. Battery compartment space adjustment, you can use the battery clip to make it a detachable battery design, avoiding the troublesome 18650 soldering process, and at the same time increasing the wiring guide, which is convenient for installing the battery compartment. Please refer to the pictures (the reserved space is for a 12*12 size 5 battery with a spring clip, using double-sided adhesive tape to stick it on);

2. Adjust the structure of the magnetic cover plate to make the magnet closer to the outer surface, and the magnetic suction effect is better;

3. Increased the wiring space. Now, even if there are a little more wires when soldering, they can still fit into the shell (it is recommended to use 28AWG wire between the lamp board and the main board, and 24AWG wire between the main board and the battery. It's enough);

4. Add a mainboard limit structure and optimize the mainboard support structure, which can better fix the position of the mainboard and reduce the problem of the mainboard shifting when plugging and unplugging the charging cable;

5. The front panel cover and the diffuser are added with a buckle structure, which can be more closely combined with the main body shell to reduce looseness;

6. The buttons are changed to multi-layer color printing. Those who don't have AMS can also play by manually changing the color;

7. Some printing parameters have been optimized, theoretically the printing effect has been improved...

All the hardware BOM is the same as the original version from C86. Thanks again to C86 for the open source.

That's about it. By the way, the mainboard has actually increased in price!!! I guess there won't be as many people playing with it later...
