Nice design very simple and functional. I added another print profile which increases the quality, allows for less material usage and faster print times.

I'm new to 3d printing, so forgive the stupid question. It's really possible to print this version at the angle with NO support? That doesn't look feasible to me?

Yea, it's generally the preferred orientation since it provides more strength in the part (not relevant for this part) and has less surface to the print bed. Your Printer can deal with 45degree overhangs no problem.

Unfortunately, this profile didn't work for me, not sure why the top came out this way

I think this print is meant more for an enclosed printer, it looks like you dont have good adhesion between layers, which will cause wrapping.

Really nice model. Printed in PETG, scaled to 75% as I have smaller sponges.

I also use smaller sponges. But I'm also using it also for used coffee pads to let them dry. So I made it as big as possible to utilize the most available space around my sink.

Is the version with the step on the bottom so that water can drain via gravity and a tilt?

The top part of both versions is identical. So if you use the one with step or without step, water can drain via gravity. The reason i added the step was that my sink is around 6mm higher than the kitchen plate.

70% Scale version
Other Issues:In my opinion at least for this a1mini version it's kind of too small, the edge is kinda low as well and since it isn't very heavy, it is easy to just move it by accident when putting the sponge on it.

I would suggest then to stick some anti slip surface under the plate.

A bit of DYCEM anti-slip sheeting would solve slippage, and is extremely easy to clean completely (non-absorbent).

Rescaled in x and y. Removed the mesh and made the walls longer. Works well!

Hello, 3d noob here. But how did you increase the wall height?

This model works really well. I used some non-slip material underneath to keep it from sliding anywhere.

The model is great although I adjusted it a bit so that ironing helps a lot. I made it out of black plastic and PCTG so that it is easy to clean. And I reduced the padding which I think is a bit unnecessary.
