The Backstory
This model was originally engineered out of pure necessity to serve as a heavy-duty hard hat and safety vest holder for demanding work environments. Since then, it has fully morphed into an incredibly versatile everyday headrest bag and gear holder, perfect for backpacks, grocery bags, lunchboxes, or tactical gear.
Confirmed Vehicle Fitment
In its current configuration, this design features a precise twist lock geometry tailored for full-sized truck headrest posts. It has been tested and confirmed to fit:
- Ford Trucks: 2012 and newer models
- Chevy Trucks: 2024 and newer models
Recommended Print Settings & Materials
Because this is an automotive accessory designed to live inside a vehicle cabin, material selection is crucial:
Minimum Requirement: PETG or ABS / ASA is highly recommended.
The Texas Heat Test: If you live anywhere with intense summer heat (like Texas!), standard PLA will warp or sag over time. Stick to high-temperature resistant filaments to ensure the twist lock retains its grip and structural integrity year-round.
