3D Printed Pointer Cursor Upgrade

Description
My cheap telescopic teaching pointer lost its original finger tip, so instead of throwing it away, I designed a new custom 3D cursor in Fusion 360.
The model has a 5.7 mm mounting hole and was designed to fit onto the metal tip of a telescopic pointer.
To install it, I carefully heated the metal tip and pressed it into the PLA part for a perfect tight fit.
I printed this version on a Bambu Lab X2S using dual-color printing without a purge tower, which gave a very clean result.
Now when I teach computer classes and say
“Look at the cursor on the board,”
students actually see a real cursor 😄
The model can also be printed in a single color if you don’t have an AMS system.
