Description

An attractive pull handle for drawer or cupboard. I needed a set of handles for some drawers that were easy to install and looked good. I decided on a design that utilised a standard European hinge drill bit or forstner drill bit with a diameter of 35mm.  The sequence of photos should give a good guide on installing the handle.  I used a chisel to remove the last of the wood left after drilling.  The install depth is 10mm so this design works well with 13mm,15mm 18mm (½", 5/8" and ¾" etc. drawer front thickness.  I used some ordinary clear adhesive to glue them in but epoxy or hot glue would likely work also.  I made it a snug fit so I would not recommend contact adhesive or CA although I did have success with contact adhesive (you need to be quick).  If you find the tolerence off or wish to try using an imperial equivalent drill bit, you could try scaling the model slightly in your slicer.
