Description

I designed this hand spreader to make fertilizer distribution simple, efficient, and easy to print. After struggling to find a model that was both material-efficient and quick to print, I decided to create my own solution focused on practicality and minimal resource use.

 

The spreader is available in two sizes: small and large, making it adaptable for different use cases and hand sizes. Each size comes in two structural variants:

  • 3-wall version – faster to print and uses less material while still being sufficiently durable for typical fertilizer spreading.
  • 4-wall version – offers increased strength and rigidity at the cost of slightly longer print time and higher material usage.

In my own use, the 3-wall version has proven to be sturdy enough for regular fertilizer spreading, but the 4-wall option is available if extra durability is preferred.

 

To allow further customization, STEP files for the lid are included. This lets you modify or design your own hole pattern depending on the type and size of material you want to spread.

 

Overall, the design prioritizes ease of printing, low material consumption, and practical usability.
