Compound Bow Generation 2, stronger than the previous generation, with a better side opening for stringing.

Generation 2 adds a layer of structure in front of the handle to bear the pulling force, with the handle bearing the pressure. The upper and lower limbs are widened accordingly. The bow limbs are increased from three layers in the previous generation to five layers. The pulleys are improved for better power generation and a clearer stop point. One side of the riser frame is changed to an I-beam shape, allowing the removal of the structure on the other side, which facilitates stringing.

Theoretically, the draw weight can be increased by shortening the sub-string, but this would make assembly very difficult to string. Due to the limitations of 3D printing materials, a higher draw weight can be maintained for a short period. After a day or two, the material itself stretches, reducing elasticity and decreasing the draw weight. Therefore, when the sub-string is installed, if it is slightly taut, its length is optimal. The main string can be adjusted in length according to your draw length.

This bow uses 8mm diameter, 80cm long three-fletched arrows. All printed filament is PETG. Required additional materials: 9 M3x12 hex screws, 3 M3x10 hex screws, 2 M3x8 screws, 1mm diameter nylon string for bowstrings (short sub-string 30cm, long sub-string 43cm, main string 132cm) and some tape.
