3D Print Profile – Room Model (Architectural/Interior)
- Printer Type: FDM/FFF
- Material: PLA recommended (minimal warping, smooth surface finish)
- Nozzle Diameter: 0.4 mm (for general balance between detail & speed)
- Layer Height: 0.16 – 0.20 mm (fine detail for walls, windows, and furniture edges)
- Wall Line Count: 2–3 (minimum 1.2 mm wall thickness for partitions/frames)
- Top/Bottom Layers: 4–5 (0.8–1 mm solid layers for floors and ceilings)
- Infill Density: 15–20% Grid/Cubic (lightweight but supportive)
- Print Speed: 40–60 mm/s (lower for fine features like windows/doors)
- Supports: Enabled – Tree or Normal (only for overhangs > 60° such as window frames, balconies, or fixtures)
- Build Plate Adhesion: Brim (5–8 mm for larger flat floors, prevents corner lift)
- Cooling: 100% after first 3 layers (to preserve detail on thin structures)
- Retraction Settings: 1 mm @ 35 mm/s (to reduce stringing between room partitions)
- Extrusion Multiplier/Flow: 100% (adjust if walls appear under/over-extruded)
- Bed Temperature: 60 °C (PLA)
- Nozzle Temperature: 200–210 °C (adjust per filament brand)
Notes:
- For larger room layouts, consider printing in sections and assembling to avoid warping.
- Resin (SLA/DLP) printing is recommended if ultra-fine interior detail is required.
