Print Profile(1)

Description
Suitable for displays with 100*100 screw spacing, M4. Screws will most likely need to be M4*10mm
Corresponds to European standard 20 series profiles, length: display length + 120mm, two pieces
Purpose:
Install dual monitors on a single monitor arm
Design history:
20250814, to better display my newly developed flat filament spool holder, I temporarily moved the printer and accompanying components onto the table, which left no place for the monitor. So I found two aluminum profiles that were not quite long enough and added this hinge mount to fix two monitors together onto a single monitor arm
Maybe some other folks want to do this too
Anyway, there's no cost to upload, what if someone needs it
For the hinge axle, use M6*18 screws, anti-loosening nuts are recommended for the nuts
"Uncommon" tools: 4mm diameter drill bit + electric drill; or 3.5mm diameter drill bit + M4 tap + hand drill; or when buying profiles, buy 4g embedded nuts (nuts that can be embedded in the profile groove)
Disadvantages:
1. The screen folding angle is limited; if you prefer to use it within 60cm of the screen, this device is not suitable
2. There is no pitch adjustment or up/down/left/right adjustment, so if the two screens are different, or if the mounting holes on the back of the screens are oddly designed (not centered or not parallel to the screen, etc.), it will cause the two screens to not align. You may need to add shims for adjustment, or it might not be possible to align them at all
3. After hanging two screens, the joint resistance of the bracket might not be enough, requiring tightening or installation of counterweights. I fixed it by adding a tension spring. Or simply tightening the screws can also work
