Description

This is a quick and simple design to help fill the gap between your stove and countertop.

The file includes two sizes, and the only difference is the thickness of the bottom piece that slides into the gap:

  • Small: 6mm wide at bottom
  • Large: 10mm wide at bottom

I recommend printing a test piece first to make sure it fits well in your space.

Magnets

This model uses 8x3mm magnets. They fit snugly in the holes, so no glue is needed—but I still added a bit of glue just to be safe.

There are more magnet holes than most people will need, so you can adjust based on how much magnetic grip you want. In the photos, I only used half the magnets, and that was enough to keep it firmly in place.

Material & Heat Considerations

I printed mine using PLA Matte, and it's been working great so far. That said, how hot your stove or oven gets during use will definitely affect which material is best for you. If your stove tends to run hot or radiate a lot of heat around the edges, you might want to consider a more heat-resistant filament like PETG or ABS.

A Quick Note

This is the first model I’ve shared on MakerWorld, and also my first designed print for others to use. I'm excited to be sharing it, and I’d really appreciate any feedback or suggestions you have!
