The brush didn't work out for me sof I stripped some 22AWG wire, cut it into small strips and it's working fantastic silicone. Electrical wiring using silicon for heat resistance and flexibility so no worries about it melting.
Just started a PETG print and zero filement on the nozzle after extruding and wiping.
The electrical tape is due to the opening down the back for the brush as the silicone tubes fall right out without it
this is a very clever design. works great and clean my noozle very well.
however, it’s not strong enough, i have broken few of them already after several prints, reprinted with ABS several times..
After the first print and installation, the foot broke off. I decided to print the part lying down so that the foot would be stronger, and only then I noticed that the edge of my holder goes along the marked line and accordingly bends strongly (up to breaking off) due to the rounding inside the box. I had to grind down the edge of the foot a little.
