Bill of Materials
Description
I created a classic lantern from several parts so that the printing would be reliable and without supports.
The model does not need to be glued.
The roof of the lantern is secured with pins and can be removed very easily. The sides of the lantern are held by protrusions in the columns of the base and the whole thing is secured with pins.
Use only LED candles. Tealights could cause a fire!
The diameter of the hole for the LED candle is 40mm so you can use any LED candles up to that diameter.
Tealight LED candles sold at Bambustore will be suitable
Assembly procedure:
1) Carefully insert the sides of the lantern into the grooves of the base so that they are even with the columns and the bottom of the base
2) Insert the top of the lantern with the ornament onto the base
3) Secure the top of the lantern with two pins
4) Carefully spread the lantern handle and insert it into the holes
5) Press the cone onto the top of the roof
I tested the lantern profile on A1mini, A1, X1C printers
I recommend cleaning your print bed thoroughly to ensure adequate adhesion.
I recommend using 3Dlak/glue when printing white filament. I have had adhesion issues on all my printers due to the dye in the white filament.
