My partner knits and normally uses a cute, small yarn bowl to feed out the yarn. When she started a sweater recently, the large, bulky balls were too big for the bowl. I designed this simple spinning spool to manage the yarn. The arm was the first addition because the yarn kept slipping to the axis. Later, I strengthened the inner axis after the first one broke.(Edited)
