My BONBON twist: a surprise capsule that's also a cake topper 🎂🎁
When I saw the 2.7 inch BONBON capsule brief, I didn't want to make just a capsule — I wanted it to have a moment. So I made a bonbon-shaped capsule that sits right on top of the cake. Twist it open and there's a hidden gift, candies, or a tiny note waiting inside. That little reveal is the whole idea.
Design notes:
- Sized to the official 2.7 inch capsule spec.
- Two halves that twist together and hold securely — the lid won't pop off.
- Prints in PLA, no supports; pick two colors to match your party theme.

How two empty 5L bottles became an auto feed + water station for my cat 🐱
It started with a simple worry: food & water when we're away for a weekend. Store auto-feeders are bulky and pricey — so I asked, what does every home already have? A 5L water bottle.
Concept: flip a standard 5L PET bottle into a 3D-printed base. Gravity keeps the bowl topped up as the pet eats and drinks — no electronics, no batteries.
What I had to solve:
1) Bottle fit — 5L bottle necks are almost identical but not exact, so the collar has a slight taper + inner ribs to grip common bottles without leaking (~4 test prints to dial it in).
2) Gravity gap — I tuned the outlet height so the bowl auto-levels: always full, never overflows.
3) Two flows — water is easy, but dry food jams, so the food version has a wider chute + steeper angle so kibble keeps sliding down.
Upcycled, stable wide base, splits apart for washing, costs almost nothing. Free files below 👇

This candy machine has zero electronics – and it actually works 🍭
Fill the hopper, turn the lever, and the rotating drum drops a
perfect portion of candies into the tray. Pure mechanics, no
batteries, no glue – everything snap-fits together.
The perforated front panel was a small design gamble that paid off:
you can see the colorful candies inside, and somehow that makes
everyone want to turn the lever one more time.
