magnets were slightly challenging to get in. I first pressed them into the bottom using the floor to apply even pressure. Then I added a magnet to the top of each of the ones installed on the bottom, placed the lid on and pressed hard. this ensured the polarity of the magnets was consistent and allowed me to easily install them.
