If you’ve ever had a bonnet try to drop on you mid-job, you’ll know why I made this. My AU Falcon struts were getting tired, so instead of trusting them, I designed a simple adjustable clamp with a locking nut to act as a solid backup. It’s turned out to be pretty handy, and since it’s adjustable it should work on plenty of other cars too—not just AU Falcons.
