This is a really creative idea and I recommend to print this! I raven scaled it down to 70% and although the tolerances were very tight, I got it to work and it’s soooo cute! Thanks for the amazing print! You have earnt a new follower!

This is really cool! The print can out great apart from some bed issues at the front but that’s a sign I need to clean my build plate, not that there’s anything wrong with the files. Thank You!

#Turn Trash into Treasure I recently came up with the idea to use a spool's surface as a build plate which was very strange I have to admit but actually works really well! You see, my spool was a really old one from Geeetech which I got with my first printer and after recently getting a p1s, I quickly became interested in texturing the bottom of my prints. The spool of 'Geeetech Green' filament was lying around on my work surface empty and it had a nice geometric pattern on it so I decided to slap it down on my build plate with some tape and apply a bit of glue on top and 'voila' I have a textured build plate. Nearly encountered: - The initial 'nozzle cleaning' procedure needs to have part of the spool underneath it or else the printer may try and destroy itself by lifting the built plate too high. (please be cautious when trying this guys!). - The area of the build plate you are printing on needs to be fully covered by the spool otherwise your printer will just be printing in midair. - Also, purge lines are printed in the air so will have to be removed manually after it finishes printing them. All in all, this is a very interesting idea and it sort of works (as seen in the images).

#Community Featured Post These are my two guinea pigs Crumpet and Bramble and I have recently designed a toy of which I put pieces of coriander in for my piggies to enjoy! I printed it on my P1s and tested it with them today! Once I got them to sit down and not just run into their hay or hut, they started devouring it and all of the coriander was gone within minutes! The model design is here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1115380#profileId-1112783 IF YOU PRINT PLEASE WATCH YOUR PET DURING USE AS INGESTION MAY BE BAD..... Happy printing and have a good Wheek! (That's the sound guinea pigs make if you didn't know) (Also, pun was definitely intended!) 😅
