I really like using an AMS Flipper for TPU loading because it makes direct filament feeding much easier. But I always had the concern that the tilted AMS could tip towards the printer enclosure. So I designed a compact mechanical stop that keeps the AMS securely in position while tilted backwards. Simple print, no supports, practical everyday upgrade for TPU users 👍

I designed an organic lamp for the Bambu Lamp Kit with controlled light transmission and indirect illumination. The 0.8 mm wall creates a soft ambient glow while keeping the structure stable. Two sizes (100 mm and 190 mm) are available. Print profiles for PLA, PETG, and PETG with PLA support interface are included. Optimized for clean surfaces and reliable thin-wall printing. Feedback on print quality and light effect is welcome.

#Help Center Indirect Lamp – Visible Dots & Uneven Surface (PETG) Hello fellow designers and 3D printing enthusiasts, I’m currently developing a lamp designed to emit soft indirect light. To achieve a pleasant translucency, I used a wall thickness of 0.8 mm with a 0.4 mm nozzle (2 perimeters). Unfortunately, I’m not satisfied with the print quality. When the light is turned on, I can clearly see small dots across the surface. I suspect this may be related to the random seam position. In addition, there are visible density inconsistencies that become very noticeable when illuminated. The outer surface also doesn’t appear as smooth as expected. Print setup (Bambu Studio): Adaptive layer height up to 0.28 mm Outer wall speed: 100 mm/s Material: PETG (white & blue) PLA used as an intermediate support structure layer Otherwise default Bambu Lab settings Have you experienced similar issues with thin translucent walls? I would prefer not to increase the wall thickness, as I really like the current light transmission effect. Any suggestions for improving optical uniformity and surface quality would be greatly appreciated.
