I wanted a stand to hold my old ipad (2016, cracked screen and still kickin') because it will run Handy app and sit next to my printer. I made a few before I got to this one. I like the size and shape. It is pretty functional too. Holds my old 2016 9.7" ipad, and my 2025 10" iPad, in either landscape or portrait mode, either naked or in a case. Will old a standard magazine, or even a spiral binder or sheets of printer paper. Mine was printed in Overture Matte PLA Rainbow (unicorn poop!)

The architect lamp from Ikea/Amazon etc.. has a C-Clamp style mounting bracket. That sucks, it isn’t secure. I made a different mounting bracket for my shelf. It would work on any horizontal slab mounting surface. You might need to scale the model to fit the thickness of your slab and your lamp mounting shaft OD.

Hey, do you use 4L Cereal boxes to store your filament and hopefully keep it dry? The lids on those serial boxes let air through, go squeeze one and listen to the air hiss in and out of the leaky top. This model dramatically improves those seals if you replace the flap with my screw on cap, and put in a gasket spacer to tighten up the lid latches. If you use and like this model, I would greatly appreciate a boost. Thanks!

I made a bell-mouth fan intake shroud for an 80mm PC Fan. Although I haven't done any testing, removing a simple metal grill cover and adding this intake shroud *SHOULD* result in smoother, less turbulent, and lower resistance air flow. (right?) Anyway, I designed it and printed it and am using it. I can't say I notice any huge difference in my fan --> window exhaust vented printer tent enclosure. But it looks cool and I had fun. If you use this and enjoy it, consider dropping a boost!

My hand hurt after gripping the tiny deburring tool handle and working on a few dozen tiny game pieces that had brims on the bases. So, I made this handle grip sleeve for deburring tools that have a HEX shaped handle. Try it.

I push stuff in the middle of my shelf and then things fall off the end. I wanted to stop that and designed this. It works. If you use it and like it, please leave a rating and a pic! Thanks.

I just got an AMS about a week or two ago. I am really enjoying the convenience of east filament changes and some simple multi-colored prints. But boy are they slow. I wanted to try my hand at painting and makeing a print print profile for a multi-colored object, and this is my first attempt! A garden gnome, made in MESHY (AI) and then I cut/painted and made a print profile. I hope someone finds it useful.

I was playing with Fusion loft along a curve (to make the stalk) and then a revolve for the cap. I wanted to design an organic looking shape and this seemed like a good thing to try. Then I cut the cap off, adjusted it's tilt a few degrees and lowere it. Then I used the stem shape to cut out of the cap, and recessed the cap a little more. Lastly I used CNC Kitchen's online “bumpmesh” tool to add some texture to the STL exports.

Results very good on first attempt with SUNLU High Speed Matte PETG. Now if Bambu ever gets the AMS2 back in stock.... :-( WARNING: Keep an eye on the tree supports of the center holder with the round hygrometer holder. When they had gotten about 90% of the way to the interface layer some of the small branches flexed and got hit by the nozzle I was able to pause the print, heat a flat bladed screw driver with a lighter, and push the twigs of the support that were sticking up back down flat with the others and then the print finished OK. If I hadn't caught and corrected that, the print might have failed at about 30-40% finished.

Pretty cool design. It works OK but the pins don’t stay connected. They snap together, but not securely enough to stay that way. Might be better with a threaded bolt.

Printed from Handy App with Matte PLA. The next morning the print just worked right off the print bed. I didn’t have to do anything. It just came off the plate and worked right away.

My "grow tent" that I use for 3d-printer ventilation chamber has frame rods were inconveniently located. This caused a problem putting my tent flush against the wall, and made it difficult to manipulate filmaent changes, poop chute emptying, and tool head maintenance. I made some brackets that keep the tent working the way it is supposed to, but move the rods to more convenient locations.

I printed in dual color matte PLA, came out perfect. Worked right off the plate. Be gentle, the tabs in the pieces that hold it together are fragile, so if you drop it or yank on it, it won't last long.

Efficient, compact, and reliable. I have quite a few of these now and they all work very well.

This is a 1:1 scale precision model of a 2025 Apple iPad Air 11-inch M3 all physical contour components present. Two STEP files uploaded, one has some embossed lettering on the front (as shown in the model images), and the other FLAT one without those. Use this as a CAD “cut” tool (or a slicer negative boolean shape) to add an ACCURATE iPad shaped cut out from your ideas. *ALL* components of the iPad that require case/mount cutouts or clearances are accurately portrayed on the model.

There are monuments in this world that announce civilization’s triumphs. The pyramids. The Golden Gate Bridge. The plastic tugboat that lives on a workbench beside a spool of filament and a half-used glue stick. It is the most widely constructed "naval vessel" in history. Its hull is smooth or not. Its smokestack stands straight or not. Its arches droop or not. In these small plastic verdicts lies the truth about belts, extruders, cooling, and the moral character of the operator. The 3DBenchy is the confessional booth of the 3d printer. The slicer settings are adjusted with the seriousness usually reserved for international treaties. Retraction distance is debated. Flow rate is nudged. The first layer is observed with the intensity of a lunar landing. And then, after hours of vigilance judging other more boring calibration tests there it sits. A boat smaller than a teacup, with a beaming maker.

I have printed about 10 of these, and they are a very good design. Beautiful! I like it so much that I come back for more. However I can see two potential improvements… the little tines that pinch on the Bowden tube when screwed on tight tend to snap off. Also, the funnel has a shape that allows a spinning spool’s “side holes” to catch on the funnel and bind up. So, I think that it could be improved in two ways. First, make the clamp tines more robust. Second, make the end of the funnel have a “rounded” shape like a drop of water with a funnel shaped void on the bottom. That would make having the funnel ride the filament as it comes off a spool unlikely to jam the spool against rim of the funnel.
