Description

A smooth interlocking impossible‑geometry sculpture. Prints in one piece; minimal supports required with the right orientation.

Description:

This model is a clean and elegant interpretation of an impossible geometric object: three interlocking rectangular loops that appear to pass through each other in a way that cannot be manufactured traditionally. The sculpture prints as a single solid piece and makes a striking decorative object for desks, shelves, or as a conversation starter.

Depending on your printer and orientation, the model requires some support material to ensure clean overhangs and stable bridging. The geometry has been optimized to keep supports minimal while maintaining smooth surfaces.

Best Print Orientation:

For the cleanest result, orient the model so that three corners of the sculpture rest on the build plate. In this position, each rectangular loop has direct bed contact, which significantly reduces the amount of support material needed and improves overall surface quality.

Scalability:

The model scales very well.

  • At scale 1.0, the sculpture is approximately 4.5 cm tall.
  • At scale 1.5, it reaches about 7 cm in height.

    Larger versions are visually impressive.
