The M4A1 carbine is an assault rifle developed by Colt, USA. It is an improved version of the M4 carbine, serving with US special forces and regular troops since the 1990s, known for its compact structure and powerful firepower.
Its main feature is the replacement of the fixed carrying handle with a flat-top Picatinny rail, facilitating the installation of various sights and other tactical accessories, enhancing modularity. Unlike the M4's three-round burst, the M4A1 has both semi-automatic and fully automatic firing modes. The rifle uses 5.56×45mm NATO standard ammunition, with a barrel length of 368.3 mm and an effective range of approximately 400 meters, making it very suitable for close-quarters combat and urban environments.
