The Custom Stand, Made by You, for You

Ever struggled to find the perfect stand for your clock? Maybe the design was right, but the size was just a little off.

"I can't find a stand that fits this clock perfectly..." "The design is nice, but the size is just a little off..."

This isn't just another 3D model. Think of it as a dynamic blueprint that lets you customize every dimension and design detail. You can craft a truly unique stand that fits your clock or any cherished item perfectly, just as if it were custom-made.

The Power of Parametric Design: Why This Stand is Different

This stand is built using a "parametric" approach. It's a powerful system that automatically redesigns the entire model based on the values you input.

A Guaranteed Perfect Fit

Simply enter the "diameter" and "thickness" of your item, and the ideal stand is generated instantly. Say goodbye to the frustration of a poor fit.

Design It Your Way

Beyond basic height and depth, you can also fine-tune aesthetic details like the side taper and corner chamfers with simple sliders. Create a piece that you'll love, perfectly matching your room's decor and your personal style.

No 3D Modeling Skills Needed

Forget about learning complex 3D software. Anyone can create a custom model by simply adjusting the provided parameter values. It's that easy.

Built-in Safety Checks

To prevent the model from breaking due to extreme values, a validation system is included to warn you if a setting is invalid. This allows you to experiment and customize with confidence.

A Quick Note

While the design has safeguards, please note that using unbalanced parameters can result in an unstable stand that might tip over.

Parameter Guide

[Display Settings]

generateClock (Display Clock Model)

Default: true

Values: true (enabled) / false (disabled)

Description: Shows a preview model of the clock to help visualize the fit. This is for balance confirmation and should be disabled for final output.

resolution_level (Resolution)

Default: 2

Range: 0 (Low) to 2 (High)

Description: Controls the smoothness of curves. Higher values look better but may slow down the preview rendering on some computers.

[Stand Dimensions]

length(Stand Depth)

Default: 150

Range: 50 to 250

Description: The right-to-left length of the stand. A larger value provides more stability.

height (Stand Height)

Default: 70

Range: 50 to 250

Description: The overall height of the stand.

bottom_thickness (Bottom Thickness)

Default: 10

Range: 5 to 20

Description: The thickness of the stand's base, which raises the displayed object off the surface.

taper_ratio (Stand Taper)

Default: 0.85

Range: 0.7 to 1.0

Description: The angle of the side walls. A value of 1.0 makes them vertical, while smaller values create a narrower top.

edge_chamfer (Corner Chamfer)

Default: 5

Range: 0 to 10

Description: The size of the chamfer on the stand's four vertical corners. Set to 0 for sharp 90-degree corners.

[Clock Settings]

cylinder_radius (Clock Diameter)

Default: 247

Range: 10 to 400

Description: Enter the "diameter" of the object you want to display. This determines the size of the cutout.

cylinder_length (Clock Thickness)

Default: 40

Range: 10 to 60

Description: Enter the "thickness" of the object you want to display. This also affects the stand's overall width.

cylinder_length_mergine (Cutout Margin)

Default: 15

Range: 10 to 50

Description: An extra margin to ensure the back wall supporting the clock is thick enough. A larger value increases the stand's strength.

tilt (Tilt Angle)

Default: 3

Range: 0 to 5

Description: The viewing angle of the surface where the object rests. A larger value will make it face more upwards.

Setting at Printing

  1. There is no need to raise the infill. Rather, lower percentages are recommended to save filament and achieve lightness.
  2. Brimming on all four corners is recommended depending on the material to reduce warping.
  3. Since it is circular, variable lamination may be selected for better results, depending on preference.
  4. Any material can be used.
