Description
Everything about the hinge is customizable, including screw size, leaf size, hinge strength, shaft strength, and other details.
This hinge is "half print-in-place," as it requires a positioning pin to secure the leaves. You can use either a metal pin or filament to fix it. Compared to traditional print-in-place hinges, this design offers greater stability and a tighter fit.
Printing
The provided configuration is ready for printing, compatible with M3 countersunk screws, and designed to work with 1.75mm filament for fixing.
If you plan to customize your hinge, it's recommended to increase the tolerance of the Downel pin and screw hole sizes by 0.2mm. Also, remember to set the Ironing Type to "Top surfaces" for better print success rates. Happy printing!!!
