I needed to run power and Ethernet to my RV but needed to keep the cables off the ground so critters would not chew them. The loop is for Ethernet, and sits on the top of the stake, the hook is for power and has a hole for brass 3mm heat set insert to lock the hooks position on the stake.

The power/data cable likes to pop out of the channel. not a reason to not to use it though.
