I'm new to 3d modelling and was curious how folks create those parametric/customizable models. One rabbit hole later I've come up with a simple solution that will be useful at my house as we approach fall/summer: a plant marker that is customizable, both in size and in the addition of text! This was fun to sort out how it all works out, what OpenSCAD is, and play around with the settings. Enjoy!

My son and I are continuing to learn about 3D modelling, and made an organizer to go along with a print we enjoy, the 3D Printed Cardboard Crafting Tools by Valeria Momo & Mattia. Tried a few different designs, but this one had the best balance of print time and utility for us!

Decided to upgrade my Ender 3 to a Bambu Lab X1C just before Christmas as a present for myself. This got my son very excited about 3D printing and we've been printing loads of stuff from MakerWorld. We've uploaded a couple print profiles, but wanted to upload a model. We've made a few simple things and are learning TinkerCad together, and we want to start with this spinning top he modeled and prototyped. We decided to add a simple holder for it when its not in use, enjoy!
