I started a small crafting business doing local shows by using premade charms. I started to want things I could not find or got requests that were hard to get so I tried sublimation and it wasn't my thing- i couldn't line up the graphic before i would heat press it right and lost a lot of products. I saw my godchildren printing some really cool stuff and found out that I can make my own designs for my earrings so I went out and purchased one. I am not sure how relevant they are to others, but most of my stuff is Louisiana focused.
