I was looking for a Christmas gift for a nephew that was Detroit related. I saw this lightbox and combined with the Detroit base plate. Very nice design!! Kudos! Thanks

I needed something for a Christmas gift for a nephew. This is just what I was looking for! I combined this with a Detroit helmet lightbox. Both projects look great apart but really shines when the two are put together. Thanks!!

Daughter in law asked for this. Printed up nicely. I learned a few things with this print. I didn't know what the yellow blocks were for. After a little digging, I learned about adding "modifiers" to a give print and changing the loop count to make a given area print without fill, or make it print as a solid. Nice little trick! BTW, the DIL loves the project!!

Very well designed JD Lightbox. I have not installed the LED COB strip yet. The colors were dead on! I used Splice3D filament. When done, it will be hanging in the man cave near my JD 1025r.

Like Version 1 so well, the wife asked if I'd print her another one. So I used version 2. I used Splice3D Copper and Chocolate Brown filament. I also up the wall count to 999 for a complete fill.
Thanks for another great project.

The 5-yr old grand needed a casting plug to practice her rod-n-reel skills, I modeled this from a graphic I found, brought it in to TinkerCAD and mad modifications to create the practice plug. I increased the size, added a void (hole) inside to add a washer mid point of the print to add weight to the casting plug. Works perfect! Files attached.
Enjoy!

To do list for kids not able to read yet. Two button designs to choose from. This board has three different size of magnets. The magnets for the button "X"'s & "Check Marks" are embedded in the print. Buttons use magnets so no friction, even the littles can work the buttons. Task sheets are printed using graphics, clip art, stickers or text. Let the kids create their own task list with stickers! This board is heavy duty and can take punishment from the littles.

The numbers on our mailbox were faded and moldy. So I designed this replacement for each side. Originally I was going to use Binding Posts or a Partition Post hardware to secure the new numbers plate to the frame. I ended up using silicone on the back side of each, rubber banded over night and reinstalled the next day. I designed the model in TinkerCAD, used PLA. I expect to have to change it out over time, by then maybe I'll have a roll of PETG on hand.
Enjoy!

The gardener in the family was going to purchase a seedling tray tweezer from Amazon. I could not find a 3D model anything close to what she wanted, so...six versions later, she now has what she was looking for. Works great! The version I printed, I put her name in the handle. Model was designed in TinkerCAD. I used SunLu PLA Cyan color. Wall Loops=4. Infill was @ 25% If I remember correctly. One of the pix has the dimensions.
