I lost my magazine base plate a few years back and jerry rigged a piece of copper pipe to hold the spring in but was pretty bad, finally took the time and spent a number of hours making several iterations and multiple test pcs to get the right fit and easy printability. Could do more ofc but I am pretty happy with the outcome. Hopefully this print can help someone else too!
