Hey guys, wanted to share this model I created with the help of AI I had an idea to make a controller holder shaped like my dog’s head and managed to bring it to life without any traditional 3D modeling Really happy with how it turned out, check out the result 🔥 #3DPrinting #AI3D #Hitem3D

Hi everyone. While watching the Fallout series recently, I really liked one scene featuring the T-60 power armor, and it inspired me to print a small statue of it for myself. I didn’t have time to model it the traditional way, so I decided to experiment with generating a model using AI instead. I gathered just one reference image and used it to generate a 3D model with Hitem3D. The quality and level of detail honestly exceeded my expectations. What I liked most was that the geometry didn’t need any additional cleanup, so I could move straight to printing. I imported the model into Bambu Studio, scaled it to the size I wanted, and slightly simplified the geometry - not too much, so the details stayed intact. The bottom of the model wasn’t perfectly flat, but instead of editing the mesh, I simply lowered it a few layers below the build plate, which gave me perfect bed contact. Most print settings were left at default. I only reduced the layer height to 0.18 mm and slowed down the print speed a bit so the small details would come out cleaner. And that was it. The model was ready to print. You can download the model from my profile: https://makerworld.com/ru/models/2245584-fallout-t-60-power-armor-bust#profileId-2444890
