👋 Hi everyone! I’m excited to share my latest project: a decorative clock featuring a stunning landscape with trees, a hill, seagulls, a stream, and houses on top. Perfect for those who love combining 3D printing with traditional craftsmanship!

✨ What makes it special:

➡️ Balsa wood base: The clock’s base, where the mechanism is placed, must be crafted by cutting the shape with a fret saw (the 3D-printed structure serves as a template). I recommend using balsa with a thickness between 3 mm and 5 mm, depending on the desired aesthetic and structural result. A touch of wood oil at the end can make it look even more elegant.
➡️ 3D-printed pieces: All landscape elements are modular and numbered (as shown in the photos), making assembly easy.
➡️ Mirrored files for a better finish: The provided files are already mirrored, so you can print with the smooth surface facing the front, achieving a more uniform and polished look.
➡️ Assembly system with dowels: Use the provided printable dowels (object: “tassello”) to securely glue the parts together by applying them on the back between the two pieces with a bit of two-component glue (or hot glue/cyanoacrylate glue).

🎨 Creative tips:
• Customize the colors of the various pieces to match your décor.
• Add extra details, like painted textures, shading effects, or artistic brushstrokes (let your imagination run wild).

💡 Print Settings:
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 15%
• Recommended material: PLA+ for a polished aesthetic result.
• Supports: No supports required
