Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Backboard Sand the IRVING 4 ft. Pine Shelving Board to remove any splinters or rough edges. Apply two coats of the BEHR White Waterproofing Stain & Sealer to protect the wood from the elements and achieve the bright, clean look seen in the reference image. Allow the board to dry completely.
Step 2: Prepare the Tubing Measure and cut the IPEX Central Vac Tubing into individual segments of 5" for each paddle slot.
Step 3: Mount the Holders Ensure all the required paddle mounts and skill-level plaques are fabricated on your Bambu Lab 3D printer. Arrange the mounts in a straight, evenly spaced row across the painted backboard. Secure the mounts and the skill-level plaques to the wood using the Paulin #10 1/2-inch Tapping Screws. Slide each cut piece of vacuum tubing into a 3D printed mount.
Step 4: Add Hooks and Bungee Install two of the Everbilt Tarp Rope Hooks on the back of the board near the top corners to act as hangers for the court's chainlink fence. Install the remaining two hooks on the front of the board (one on the far left, one on the far right). Stretch the Everbilt 48-inch Bungee Cord across the front hooks to create the blue retaining line that rests against the lower section of the tubes.
